Founded in 1978 as Twin City Excavating, Twin City has proudly served the Edmonton area for over 45 years, delivering reliable civil construction solutions built on quality, safety, and trust.

The name Twin City reflects the historical roots of Edmonton and Strathcona, once two separate cities before their amalgamation in 1907. It also pays tribute to a mining company where our founder was employed before establishing Twin City.

In 2020, Twin City Excavating and Answer Asphalt merged under common ownership to form Twin City Construction Services Inc. This allowed us to expand our capabilities while maintaining the same hands‑on approach and commitment our clients have relied on for decades.

Today, we provide a full range of civil construction services, including commercial excavation, subgrade and gravel base preparation, underground water, sanitary and storm services, asphalt paving, repairs and maintenance, commercial snow removal, and concrete flatwork (added in 2024).
